The Punjab government decides on Monday to enforce lockdown in the districts where the positive rate of COVID-19 is more than 12pc from April 1 to control the spread of the pandemic.
Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said while talking to the media “The lockdown will continue till April 11”. He further added that the decision will be reviewed after seven days by the cabinet committee on Covid-19.
He said that there will not be imposed restrictions on the economic activity of the industries during the lockdown. He further added, “The construction, transport, goods and industrial sectors will continue to operate as per regular according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)”.
