According to the Chief Minister of Punjab, more than 2.2 million patients have received care under the “flagship” Health Card initiative.
According to Punjab’s chief minister, Imran Khan’s vision for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is especially evident in the Health Card. Until now, the program has provided care for over 2.2 million individuals with ailments like cancer, liver problems, and other conditions, he added.
According to Pervaiz Elahi, his first aim is to give the populace the best healthcare facilities available. He stated that additional diseases will soon be included in the Health Card scheme.
The Punjab government made the decision to include more hospitals in the panel earlier in September so that those with Sehat Insaf Cards may receive standard medical treatment.
The scheme, started by former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, was expanded by CM Punjab back in June.
Details indicate that the choice was made during a meeting presided over by newly appointed Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi.
The Wazirabad Institute of Cardiology’s emergency ward was upgraded with the chief minister’s approval during the meeting. He also gave instructions to the authorities to resolve the Wazirabad Institute’s employment crisis.
