ISLAMABAD: According to the News, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan stated on Monday that KP had ran out of money as a result of the federal government’s failure to settle its outstanding debts. CM KP claimed that the federal government is putting pressure on the province government while speaking at a press conference in Islamabad. The province doesn’t have enough money to pay salaries since we haven’t paid our debt to the centre.
CM Mahmood Khan warned the federal government that the people of KP will protest in Islamabad if the debt wasn’t paid. He claimed that the current administration has undone every move made by the PTI-led administration, and he stated that the budget reduction for the former FATA is frightening.
The KP CM stated that if the national economy is not doing well, the centre should have faith in the province. Shaukat Yousafzai, a leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and a minister for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, earlier claimed that the federal government is plotting to impose governor’s rule in the provinces of Punjab and KP. Shaukat Yousafzai, the minister of labour and culture for KP, claimed in a tweet that the federal government is plotting to impose governor’s rule in the provinces of Punjab and KP. The federal administration, he continued, is afraid of PTI’s nonviolent protests.
