Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah has inaugurated a week-long anti-polio drive in Karachi. The inauguration was held at Chief Minister’s House, the inauguration was done by administering a polio drop to the children.
From Monday, the drive will be formally started in the province and Karachi itself. A target of almost 10 million with the age 5-year or below is set within the 30 districts of the province. Moreover, around 70,000 anti-polio workers and 10,000 anti-polio supervisors will be a part of the drive.
The Anti-Polio drive will last till the 6th of next month. Furthermore, the CM requested the parents of the children to come forward and assist in the drive. This cooperation will help the drive to be successful.
