The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Syed Asim Munir (NIM), paid a visit to the Collective Training exercise conducted by the Strike Corps at the Corps Level in Mangla. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that during his visit, the COAS interacted with the participating troops, praising their enthusiasm, operational proficiency, and professionalism.

The ongoing exercise is designed to validate offensive operational concepts, and General Syed Asim Munir observed a remarkable demonstration of intricate manoeuvres led by an Armoured formation equipped with cutting-edge VT-4 tanks.
Upon his arrival, the COAS was warmly received by the Commander of Mangla Corps.
In a related event last week, General Syed Asim Munir attended the closing ceremony of the 43rd Pakistan Army Rifle Association (PARA) at the Marksmanship Unit in Jhelum. Addressing the ceremony, the COAS emphasized the significance of shooting skills as a hallmark of a professional soldier.
