Another big international award has been given to the Peshawar BRT project. The World Resource Institute awarded Zu Peshawar, one of the five finalists, a special reward for their extremely strong achievement in the context of COVID and the national economic crisis.
The Peshawar BRT, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s first public transportation project, has reportedly received yet another international award.
Zu Peshawar apparently received an award worth $25,000 from the World Resources Institute for making it to the final five. Fayyaz Ahmed, the CEO of Trans Peshawar, received the award at the occasion in New York.
For this award, 260 projects from 175 cities across 65 countries were nominated.
