Syed Khadim Abbas, Commissioner of the Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC), stated on Friday that 1282 complaints of Overseas Pakistanis have been settled in the previous eight weeks, with a target of resolving 2000 complaints set for May 2022.
He made these remarks while presiding over a weekly meeting of the OPC Punjab. The dealing officials gave a comprehensive report on their performance in settling the issues of overseas Pakistanis at the meeting. Weekly performance meetings, according to the OPC Commissioner, in resolving the difficulties of Overseas Pakistanis are proven to be crucial milestones.
He further stated that Divisional and District Overseas Committees were being made more functional to tackle the concerns of Overseas Pakistanis per their wishes. The Commissioner stated that foreign Pakistanis were a precious asset to the cherished country and that their contributions to the national economy must not be overlooked. He stated that OPC Punjab was working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide all services to abroad Pakistanis under one roof and to address their issues on a priority basis.
