Today is the seventh anniversary of Kashmiri youth leader Burhan Muzaffar Wani and his two companions’ martyrdom, and an entire shutdown is being observed in Indian-occupied Kashmir to commemorate this occasion.
The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has called for a strike to honour Wani and other martyrs of the Kashmir independence fight.
To honour the fallen and bring attention to the massive human rights violations committed by Indian troops in Occupied Kashmir, protests were staged across Azad Kashmir on the anniversary of Burhan Muzaffar Wani’s death.
In his statement commemorating the 7th anniversary of Kashmiri leader Burhan Muzaffar Wani’s martyrdom, he claimed that young people in Kashmir are giving their lives in order to end Indian domination.
The advisor claimed that the people of Pakistan honour valiant sons like Burhan Muzaffar Wani.
He asserted that Burhan Muzaffar Wani’s battle served as a timeless illustration of resistance to India’s illegitimate control of Occupied Kashmir. According to him, the young of Kashmir are devoted to their right to self-determination.
