At the lslamabad International Airport on Friday, Pakistan Customs seized imported luxury phones and MacBooks worth roughly Rs. 64 million.

According to information, travellers arriving from Dubai had their imported luxury phones, including iPhones and MacBook Pros, seized by customs agents.

The passengers communicated with the Customs representatives stationed at the airport to clear the massive number of iPhones and MacBook Pros. According to sources, Additional Collector Asim Rehman, however, foiled the attempt to clear non-duty paid commodities and seized the merchandise.

Sources said that the department is further probing the matter.
