Former West Indies cricket captain Darren Sammy declined an offer from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to coach the Pakistan men’s cricket team.
This setback comes after the PCB’s failed attempt to appoint former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson as head coach. Both Sammy and Watson cited existing commitments and other reasons for turning down the offers.
As a result, the PCB may need to consider an interim arrangement for coaching the team ahead of upcoming matches.
