On Thursday, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) issued Pakistan airline rankings for 2023 based on flight punctuality.
According to the most recent rankings, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is placed sixth in domestic flight rankings.
According to the information, the national airline’s mismanagement, the financial crisis, and on-time departures and arrivals of PIA’s internal flights have all had a negative impact on the airline’s ranking.
The on-time departure ratio of private airline flights was significantly higher than that of national carriers, with PIA’s on-time departure and arrival being the most affected during January-June 2023, according to the report.
According to the data, PIA’s departure ratio for domestic flights was 58.24 percent.
Private airline Fly Jinnah achieved an on-time departure rate of 87.93 percent, Air Sial experienced an on-time departure rate of 86.89 percent, Air Blue had a rate of 78.36 percent, and Serene Airlines had a rate of 62%.
This report of CAA contains the classification of flights of Pakistani airlines in terms of regularity from January to June this year.
