In the opening hours of trading on Monday, the Pakistani rupee showed a slight uptick against the US dollar, appreciating by 0.01% in the inter-bank market.
Around 10 am, the rupee stood at 278.11, marking a gain of Re0.03 compared to the greenback, according to data from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
Over the past week, the rupee saw marginal gains for the fourth consecutive week, with an increase of Re0.60 or 0.20% against the US dollar in the inter-bank market.
