The Pakistani rupee saw a slight improvement against the US dollar, recording a 0.08% gain during the initial hour of trading in the inter-bank market on Monday.
As of 10:20 am, the rupee stood at 279.06, marking an increase of Re0.13 in comparison to the US dollar.
In the preceding week, the rupee experienced modest growth, advancing by Re0.17 or 0.06% against the US dollar in the inter-bank market.
The closing rate for the local currency at the end of the week was 279.19 against the greenback, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
