The government has created a website for Ehsaas welfare program participants to verify their status online rather than physically visiting a designated facility. The webpage is called “Ehsaas 8171 online portal,” and it was announced by Dr. Sania Nishtar, the PTI’s point-person on poverty alleviation.
In a press conference, Dr. Sania stated, “The country’s Ehsaas survey is 99.5 percent complete, and enrolment of new Ehsaas beneficiaries based on the survey has begun.” In this regard, she noted, an online site has been created that allows individuals to verify their status and receive cash (if qualified).
“In the spirit of transparency,” Dr. Sania said, “the final election results of the Ehsaas survey have been announced on the site after confirming eligibility using data analytics and rule-based procedures.”
She further mentioned that families that participated in the survey may “verify their eligibility status under Ehsaas Kafaalat and Ehsaas Emergency Cash-II by entering their survey token or CNIC number on the portal.”
“If they are qualified, they may receive their cash at the local Ehsaas payment centers,” said Dr. Sania, the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant for Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection.
Aside from that, the government has opened Ehsaas registration offices at the tehsil level around the country to assist families that were unable to participate in the survey for various reasons. They can self-register by calling one of the Ehsaas registration offices.
