Tesla, the electric car company, plans to produce about 200,000 of its Cybertruck pickup trucks each year, according to CEO Elon Musk. Previously, they had mentioned the ability to make over 125,000 annually, with a potential for 250,000 by 2025.
The much-anticipated Cybertruck is set to start deliveries on November 30, almost four years after its initial unveiling. Musk stressed that manufacturing the Cybertruck has been a significant challenge.
Musk mentioned on a podcast that making the Cybertruck has been harder than expected. He previously acknowledged the challenges during an earnings call, saying that the company might face significant difficulties in increasing production and making it profitable.
