Youth International Conclave – YIC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Expansion Plan of NICs (NEP NICs) in Swat. The purpose of the MOU is to promote entrepreneurship and startup culture in Swat.
The MOU was signed by Engr. Umar Farooq Gul, President Youth International Conclave – YIC, and Mazhar Ul Islam, Community Manager NEP NICs Swat. The signing ceremony was attended by various members of the business community, government officials, and other stakeholders.
The Youth International Conclave – YIC is a platform for youth to learn about and engage with entrepreneurship and startups. The organization aims to create a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, providing young people with the tools, resources, and mentorship they need to start their own businesses or grow their businesses. Under the MOU, the Youth International Conclave – YIC and NEP NICs Swat will collaborate to provide a range of services and opportunities to the youth of Swat. This will include access to training programs, mentorship, and coaching, as well as networking opportunities with other entrepreneurs and investors.
The National Expansion Plan of NICs initiative is aimed at encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship in the local communities of Pakistan. The project is financed by the Ministry of Information Technology (MoITT) and executing body is Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB). 13 Technology incubation centers have been established in all provinces of Pakistan in collaboration with selected public sector universities
Hamza Pervez is a Mechanical Engineer by education having four years of diverse experience in academic research, information technology, entrepreneurship, and business incubation programs. He is currently working at Punjab Information Technology Board as a Programme Officer (Incubation) managing NEP NICs swat.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Engr. Umar Farooq Gul, President, Youth International Conclave – YIC , said, “We are delighted to partner with the NEP NICs Swat to promote entrepreneurship and startups in Swat. We believe that by working together, we can create a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship that will help Swat’s youth to thrive.”
Mazhar Ul Islam, Community Manager NEP NICs Swat, added, “We are excited to partner with the Youth International Conclave – YIC to support the development of Swat’s youth. Through this collaboration, we hope to provide young people with the skills and resources they need to start and grow their own businesses.”
Mazhar Ul Islam is a Software Engineer and an Entrepreneur, currently serving as a Startup Community Manager at NEP-NIC Swat. He is also the founder of Dreamstech Solutions.
The MOU between the Youth International Conclave – YIC and NEP NICs Swat represents a significant step towards promoting entrepreneurship and startups in Swat. With the support of these two organizations, the youth of Swat will have the opportunity to build successful and sustainable businesses that will contribute to the economic growth and development of the region.
