Ethiopian Airlines will start its operation from Pakistan on March 26, said Ambassador of Ethiopia Jemal Beker Abdula.

Across increasing contact between the people of the two countries, the development would significantly improve relations between the two nations. During a meeting with the members of the Gujranwala Chamber of Trade and Industry, he declared, “The Airlines that are starting their operation from Karachi by next month will be a game-changer for the ties between Pakistan and Africa.”

Ethiopia, which is considered a gateway to Africa, has the potential to increase ties between Pakistanis and Africans, he continued.

“Our embassy in Islamabad has also finalized preparations for a trade delegation to Ethiopia which would not only connect the Pakistani business community with the right people in his country but also increase its presence in Africa, “he informed.

The delegation that left on March 5 for Ethiopia will receive discounted travel and lodging, business-to-business and government-to-business meetings, as well as lavish banquets and cultural activities hosted by the government of the host country.

Sometimes, according to Faisal Manzoor, Head of the Board of Governors of the University of Sialkot, Pakistanis have a spiritual bond with Ethiopia, the country of Hazrat Bilal Habeshi, and King Nejashei.

He announced that Ethiopian students would be eligible for fully financed scholarships from the University of Sialkot and IISAT. The Sustainable Development Goals Center at the International Institute of Science, Arts, and Technology (IISAT) was also officially opened by the ambassador.
