It is predicted that shortly the European Union’s flight operations ban on Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will be lifted.
Various issues linked to flight operation, including flight safety and flight engineering, will be examined by an audit team from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), according to sources.
Before approving flights from Pakistan to European nations, the EASA team will conduct a safety audit of CAA and PIA, according to sources.
The PIA Spokesperson reported that all of the preparations for the EASA’s online audit were finished. He also predicted that PIA’s operations in Europe would restart following the airline’s successful audit.
It may be noted here that PIA was restricted from flying to EU states after the EASA suspended the national airline’s authorization to operate flights to EU member states.
