PTI founder and Former Prime Minister Imran Khan plans to contest elections from three constituencies on February 8, according to PTI Senator Ali Zafar.
The Islamabad High Court is expected to announce the Toshakhana case verdict soon.
Imran Khan was disqualified for five years after being found guilty of corrupt practices. The PTI encourages workers to submit nomination papers, prioritizing jailed members for election tickets. Barrister Gohar states that Imran will contest in Lahore, Islamabad, and Mianwali.
PTI opposes calls for the Chief Election Commissioner’s resignation. Imran will make the final decision on ticket allocation. Allegations of hindrances to PTI candidates and a call for free and fair polls were also made.
