Faizan Sameer, the head futsal coach and manager of Team Eighteen in Pakistan, has been chosen for the UEFA Certificate in Football Management (CFM), along with 34 other competitors from across the world.
He is the first Pakistani to be chosen for the program.
The UEFA CFM is the foundation curriculum for those working in football organizations who wish to obtain a thorough grasp of how the game is run. The curriculum lasts nine months and consists of 10 online courses as well as three in-person seminars.
Each module and face-to-face seminar, according to program specifics, tackles a crucial aspect of football management.
Faizan, who was accepted into the program, is presently serving as head coach for the futsal squad Team Eighteen. Tarek Hamdy founded the aforementioned futsal squad, which is also one of Islamabad’s prominent futsal clubs.
The same squad won the National Futsal Championship 2021 as well.
Faizan is both an actor and a well-known developer of digital entertainment. Sameer has stated in an interview that he has been practicing football since infancy and that his ambition is to become a pro footballer.
