“Break Through in fraudulent online applications linked with Binance case. Also, Binance contacted FIA Cyber Crime Sindh and assured its full support regarding a mega financial scam investigation involving 11 fraudulent apps using Binance blockchain addresses.”
Moreover, Imran Riaz also said in a tweet:
“A telephonic contact followed by e-mail contact happened between FIA and Binance. Binance has nominated a two-member team to coordinate with FIA Cyber Crime. And they are former investigators with the U.S. Department of Treasury and specialize in cryptocurrency investigations.”
Moreover, Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has assured the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing (Sindh) its “full support” in an investigation into a multi-million dollar scam, a senior official of the FIA claimed.
Furthermore, The FIA contacted Binance to acquire the records of 26 wallets used in the fraud.
Moreover, Federal Minister for Science & Technology, Senator Shibli Faraz also tweeted:
“Sad to see our people losing hard-earned money. Crypto exchanges need regulations and proper guidelines. It is to safeguard the investments of the people.”
FIA may revoke its decision to block all cryptocurrency sites if Binance does not provide the records for their investigation.
