In the second round of FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers, Pakistan is set to face Jordan at Jinnah Sports Ground in Islamabad today.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 2:00 pm.
The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) noted that the Jordanian football team’s visit marks their return to Pakistani soil after 18 years, with their last visit dating back to 2006.
Pakistan’s men’s football team secured their first-ever FIFA World Cup qualifier victory last October by defeating Cambodia 1-0 in Islamabad. However, they faced a setback with a 4-0 loss to Saudi Arabia in the subsequent round.
