The Pakistani rupee continued to depreciate against the US dollar in the interbank market for the fifth consecutive session, reported on Tuesday.
Forex dealers claim that during intraday trading, the value of the dollar relative to the local currency increased by 0.11 paisa. In the interbank market, the Pakistani rupee was trading for Rs219 against the US dollar.
The banks are selling USD for Rs219.76, the forex dealers said.
In open market, the United States Dollar is sold between Rs223 to Rs226, said, forex dealers.
