Lahore: The Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, has approved the “Roshan Gharana” program to provide solar panels to millions of citizens.
Scheme Details:
- Eligibility: Households consuming between 50 to 500 units of electricity monthly.
- Cost Sharing: The government will cover 90% of the solar panel cost, with the consumer responsible for the remaining 10%.

- The poorest families will be prioritized in the first phase of the project.
