Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari announced a meeting of the party’s Central Executive Committee (CEC) for May 19 in Karachi.
The conference will be presided over by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and it will focus on the current political scenario.
The gathering will take place at the Bilawal House in Karachi.
The PPP chairman will decide the party’s future course of action after consulting with party members.
The huddle will also discuss the outcome of the National Security Committee meeting, which took place on Tuesday in Islamabad.
NSC vows action against May 9 attackers
According to News, a National Security Committee (NSC) meeting on Friday determined to bring to court the “spoilers” involved in the recent attacks on military sites on May 9 – the day Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan was detained.
Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif summoned a meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC), the main national body in charge of security concerns, to evaluate the law and order situation following ‘violent protests’ following Imran Khan’s incarceration.
The meeting also includes the heads of the services, key federal ministries, and the heads of civil and military intelligence gathering institutions.
