Pakistan’s foreign minister, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, will attend the annual gathering of the World Economic Forum, which gets underway in Davos on Monday.
Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar will accompany him.
The Foreign Minister will discuss challenges to the security and stability of the area as well as the economic and social effects of changing geopolitical realities from Pakistan’s point of view.
He will emphasize the viewpoint of the developing world on issues such as food and energy security, climate change, and social vulnerabilities during periods of high inflation and sluggish economic growth.
Along with participating dignitaries like political figures, business executives, leaders of international organizations, prominent members of the media, and members of civil society, the foreign minister and the minister of state will also meet with them.
