Government launched many initiative programs on the World food day, today including Punjab Food Authority Bike Squad, Free Model Food Stalls distribution, Free Milk Inspection, Body Cam Surveilleince System, Motorway Squad vans.
World Food Day Theme for the year 2021 is “Safe food now for a healthy tomorrow”. Collective action across 150 countries is what makes World Food Day one of the most celebrated days of the UN calendar.
Government also announced prize money for the pubic of up to Pkr 500,000, on any successful tip on food contamination.
This initiative from the government will benifit the punjabians greatly, especially the Punjab Food Authority Bike Squad.
