DOHA – The FIFA World Cup 2022 is keeping emotions high throughout the world with great performances by teams in Qatar, and one fan took their passion for the sport to a new level.
A man is shown in a social media post watching a World Cup game as he supposedly had surgery in a hospital in the Polish city of Kielce.
According to the Daily Mail, the anonymous man was scheduled to have surgery for a spine-related procedure. He asked the doctors whether he could watch Wales play Iran while they did the treatment.
The doctors granted his wish, and as the football fan underwent spinal anesthesia, a television was set up in the operating room.
