Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will visit China and Japan in the coming weeks, according to officials.
Bilawal will travel to China in the last week of June to attend the 14th Annual Meeting of the New Champions, popularly known as the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) “Summer Davos,” which will be placed in China’s Tianjin Municipality from June 27 to June 29.
Meanwhile, Bilawal will make his first trip to Japan in the first week of July. Japan is a vital development partner of Pakistan, and the foreign minister’s visit will almost certainly expand the relationship.
Despite the fact that Japan is a member of the QUAD and a Western ally, Tokyo maintains a close relationship with Pakistan.
