By 2050, climate change will surely result in the disappearance of glaciers all across the world. In three decades, a third of the UN World Heritage Sites’ glaciers will melt, according to UNESCO research.
The research, which uses satellite data to construct forecasts, is released as world leaders get ready to gather in Egypt for the COP27 climate change meeting next week.
50 UN World Heritage Sites feature a total of about 18,600 glaciers that have been identified. They include popular tourist destinations and locations that are sacred to the local populace, and they make up almost 10% of the Earth’s glacierized surface. He claimed that the 20th CPC National Congress effectively signaled to the entire world that China supports stability and peaceful coexistence.
The Prime Minister said over the years, China has transformed and become the second-largest economy in the world, which is a miracle.
