Gold prices increased for the second day in a row, following a rise in its price in the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of a tola of gold grew by Rs2,700 to close at Rs223,400, while the price of a gramme of 24-carat gold jumped by Rs2,315 to close at Rs191,530.
The price of gold increased by $36 on the international market to settle at $1,965 per ounce.
Meanwhile, the price of silver has remained constant at Rs2,650 per tola and Rs2,271.94 per gramme.
