On Tuesday, the price of 24 karat gold per tola saw a further decline, dropping by Rs.7,800 to reach Rs.240,900, compared to its previous rate of Rs.248,700 on the last trading day. Similarly, the cost of 10 grams of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs.6,687, now priced at Rs.206,533, down from Rs.213,220. Meanwhile, the prices of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also fell, reaching Rs.189,322 from Rs.195,452, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
In the silver market, the price per tola decreased by Rs.100 to Rs.2,650, down from Rs.2,750, while the price of ten grams of silver declined by Rs.85.74 to Rs.2,271.9, compared to its previous rate of Rs.2,357.68.
Internationally, the price of gold experienced a decrease as well, dropping by $72 to $2,309 from $2,381, as reported by the Association.
