Gold rate in Pakistan experienced a notable increase on Friday, following a rise in the global market price. Locally, the price of gold per tola surged to Rs245,000, marking a single-day gain of Rs2,500. Similarly, the 10-gram gold price reached Rs210,048 after a significant increase of Rs2,143, according to data provided by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The previous day, gold rate in Pakistan had climbed by Rs500 per tola. The international gold rate also witnessed an uptick on Friday, reaching $2,343 per ounce (with a $20 premium) after a $21 gain throughout the day, as reported by APGJSA.
In contrast, silver rates remained steady at Rs2,650 per tola. Just last week, gold rate per tola in Pakistan had soared to an all-time high of Rs252,200.
