Gold rate in Pakistan experienced a decline on Saturday, reflecting a drop in the international market. In local trading, the price of gold per tola fell to Rs244,400, marking a decrease of Rs600 in a single day.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold was recorded at Rs209,534, reflecting a decline of Rs514, according to data provided by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
This decrease comes after a notable increase in gold prices on Friday, when the precious metal gained Rs2,500 per tola.
In the international market, the price of gold also saw a reduction on Saturday, with the rate set at $2,337 per ounce (with a premium of $20), showing a decrease of $6 throughout the day, as reported by APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver rates remained unchanged at Rs2,650 per tola.
Last week, gold prices in Pakistan reached an all-time high of Rs252,200 per tola.
