KARACHI – Gold prices continued to fall for the second consecutive day on Tuesday, influenced by a dip in global gold rates.
Data from the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association revealed that the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs500, settling at Rs256,000. Similarly, the price for 10-gram gold decreased by Rs428, reaching Rs219,479.
In the international market, the price of gold per ounce dropped by $17, settling at $2,410.
Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan remained unchanged, with per tola price at Rs2,900 and 10-gram traded at Rs2,486.28.
On Monday, the price of gold per tola had decreased by Rs300 to settle at Rs256,500, and the price for 10-gram gold had dipped by Rs258 to settle at Rs219,907.
