KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Friday, mirroring an upward trend in the international market. According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold increased by Rs1,000 per tola, reaching Rs256,500. The price of 10-gram gold also saw a rise of Rs857, settling at Rs219,907.
This surge follows a significant increase in the global market, where gold prices per ounce climbed by $37, reaching $2,430.
In contrast, silver prices in Pakistan remained unchanged. The price per tola of silver stood firm at Rs2,900, with 10-gram silver trading at Rs2,486.28.
On the previous day, gold prices had remained stable, with per tola gold priced at Rs255,500 and 10-gram gold at Rs219,050.
