KARACHI – Gold Prices Decline Slightly Amid Global Drop
On Thursday, gold prices in Pakistan saw a minor decrease following a dip in international market rates.
According to data from the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs300, settling at Rs257,400. Similarly, the price of gold per 10 grams decreased by Rs256, closing at Rs220,680.
Globally, gold prices also experienced a slight decline, with the price per ounce dropping by $4 to $2,454.
In contrast, silver prices in Pakistan remained stable. The price per tola held steady at Rs2,950, while the price for 10 grams was Rs2,443.41.
On August 13, gold prices had seen an increase, with the price per tola rising by Rs1,200 to Rs257,700 and the price for 10 grams up by Rs1,029 to Rs220,936.
