KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan saw a slight recovery on Friday, mirroring the upward trend in global markets.
According to data from the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs300, settling at Rs257,700. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs256, reaching Rs220,936 in the local market.
In the international market, the price of gold also saw an increase of $7, with the new price now at $2,461 per ounce.
Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan remained steady, with the per tola price holding at Rs2,950 and the 10-gram price at Rs2,443.41.
This recovery follows a slight decline in gold prices recorded a day earlier, when the per tola price dropped by Rs300, closing at Rs257,400, and the 10-gram price fell by Rs256, ending at Rs220,680.
