KARACHI – On Monday, gold prices in Pakistan fell in response to declining global rates. According to data from the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs200, reaching Rs260,000. The price of 10 grams of gold also fell by Rs172 to Rs222,908.
Internationally, gold prices dropped as well, with the per-ounce price falling by $5 to $2,502.
In contrast, silver prices in Pakistan remained stable. The price for a tola of silver stood at Rs2,950, while the price for 10 grams was Rs2,529.14.
This decline in gold prices follows a notable increase over the weekend when the per tola price had risen by Rs2,500 to Rs260,200, and the price for 10 grams had surged by Rs2,144 to Rs223,080.
