KARACHI – Gold prices hit a new record in Pakistan’s domestic market on Thursday, marking a third consecutive day of gains.
According to data from the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola surged by Rs800, reaching an unprecedented Rs261,800. The price for 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs686, closing at Rs224,451.
The previous day saw a rise of Rs300 per tola, bringing the price to Rs261,000. The cost for 10 grams of 24-karat gold also climbed by Rs257, now standing at Rs223,765.
Globally, gold prices remained steady at $2,512, while local silver prices held constant at Rs 2,950.
