Gold continued its upward trend in Pakistan’s domestic market on Tuesday, marking the second consecutive day of gains amid increasing global prices.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the per tola price of gold rose by Rs1,000 to reach Rs277,400, while the 10-gram gold rate climbed by Rs858 to settle at Rs237,826.
On the international front, gold prices also increased, with the per ounce rate rising by $10 to hit $2,662.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained steady, with per tola and 10-gram rates unchanged at Rs3,400 and Rs2,914.95, respectively.
A day earlier, gold recorded a significant hike of Rs2,000 per tola, setting the stage for this continued surge.
