Gold prices in Pakistan rebounded on Wednesday after a brief decline, registering a significant increase of Rs2,300 per tola. The latest surge has pushed the price to Rs288,700 in the local market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold also climbed by Rs1,972, reaching Rs247,513. This increase follows a previous drop of Rs2,700 per tola on Tuesday when gold settled at Rs286,400.
The international gold market also experienced an upward trend, with global prices rising by $22 per ounce. The international rate, including a $20 premium, now stands at $2,763 per ounce.
Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan saw an increase of Rs28 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs3,391.
