Gold rate in Pakistan held steady on Saturday, with the price per tola remaining unchanged at Rs241,700. The 10-gram gold rate also stayed stable at Rs207,219, as reported by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). This stability reflects the flat international rate for gold on the same day.
In contrast, the previous day saw a Rs700 increase per tola in local gold prices. The international rate of gold remained unchanged at $2,326 per ounce, inclusive of a $20 premium, according to APGJSA.
Similarly, silver prices maintained their stability at Rs2,850 per tola. Notably, gold prices in Pakistan had reached an all-time high of Rs252,200 per tola in April.
The unchanged gold prices on Saturday indicate a period of market stability following recent fluctuations, with local prices closely tracking international trends.
