On Friday, gold prices in Pakistan continued their downward trend, reflecting a decline in the global market. According to data from the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs2,500, bringing the new rate to Rs284,700.
The price of gold for 10 grams also decreased, dropping by Rs2,144 to settle at Rs244,084 in the local market. In the international market, the price of gold per ounce fell by $25, closing at $2,752.
Additionally, silver prices experienced a decline, with the per tola price decreasing by Rs20 to Rs3,430, while the price for 10 grams dropped by Rs17.14 to settle at Rs2,940.67.
Just a day prior, gold prices had already fallen by Rs700 per tola, which had brought the price to Rs287,200, while the price for 10 grams decreased by Rs600 to reach Rs246,288.
