The gold rate in Pakistan saw a slight increase as the week began, with prices inching closer to record highs. According to the All-Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 24K gold rose by Rs. 700 per tola, reaching Rs. 283,700, while 10 grams of 24K gold increased by Rs. 600, now standing at Rs. 243,227.
Similarly, 22K gold saw a rise, with the 10-gram rate climbing from Rs. 222,408 to Rs. 222,958. Silver prices, however, remained steady, with per tola priced at Rs. 3,430 and 10 grams at Rs. 2,940.67.
Globally, gold experienced a minor increase as well, with international prices going up by $7 to $2,742 per ounce.
