The price of gold in Pakistan fell for the third time this week, dropping by Rs. 1,100 per tola on Thursday, according to the All-Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
The price of 24-carat gold now stands at Rs. 274,400 per tola, while the price for 10 grams fell by Rs. 943, bringing it to Rs. 235,254. This follows a Rs. 600 per tola increase on Wednesday after slight declines earlier in the week. Overall, gold has dropped Rs. 2,600 per tola from last week’s record high of Rs. 277,000.
Silver prices remained unchanged at Rs. 3,050 per tola and Rs. 2,614.88 for 10 grams.
Meanwhile, gold prices in the international market dropped by $11, settling at $2,642 from $2,653.
