KARACHI – The price of gold in Pakistan experienced a decline on Saturday, following significant gains the previous day.
According to data from the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs700, bringing it to Rs275,500 per tola. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs600, settling at Rs236,197.
In the international market, gold prices also dipped, with the per-ounce rate dropping by $7 to reach $2,653.
This drop comes after gold prices saw a significant rise on Friday, when the per tola price increased by Rs1,800, reaching Rs276,200. The 10-gram price also jumped by Rs1,543, from Rs235,254 to Rs236,797.
Meanwhile, the prices of silver remained unchanged at Rs3,050 per tola and Rs2,614.88 per 10 grams.
