KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan saw a significant decline during the first session of the new business week on Monday, reflecting a global downtrend.
According to data released by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price per tola dropped by Rs1,100, settling at Rs260,400. Similarly, the price of 10 grams fell by Rs 943, reaching Rs 223,251.
In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $7, closing at $2,490 per ounce.

On Saturday, gold rates in Pakistan had dropped by approximately Rs2,000 per tola to Rs261,500, mirroring trends in the international market. The price for 10 grams of gold fell by Rs1,714, now standing at Rs224,194.
