KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan surged to a record high on Monday, driven by an upward trend in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs1,700, reaching an all-time high of Rs268,000. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs1,700, bringing it to Rs229,767.
In the international market, gold prices climbed by $10, settling at $2,587 per ounce.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable in the domestic market, with per tola priced at Rs2,950 and 10 grams at Rs2,529.14.
