Gold prices in Pakistan saw a decline on Wednesday after hitting an all-time high earlier in the week. According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of one tola of gold dropped by Rs300, settling at Rs267,700. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs257, reaching Rs229,510.
In the international market, gold prices decreased by $18, closing at $2,569 per ounce. However, silver prices remained steady in the domestic market, with the per tola rate standing at Rs2,950 and 10 grams priced at Rs2,529.14.
Earlier on Monday, gold reached record levels in Pakistan, with the per tola price surging by Rs1,700 to Rs268,000, while 10 grams rose to Rs229,767.
